Explore the foundation of cutting with our CortePro Essential Plus course. Designed for those who want to refine and master essential techniques, this course will guide you through three core sessions: Medium-Long Layering, Medium Graphic Cuts, and Short Graduated Cuts.
With a strong focus on fundamentals, you’ll elevate your skills by building on your existing knowledge and reaching new levels of mastery in the art of haircutting.
Starting with this edition, students may add Model Practice Sessions: two additional days of supervised practice focused exclusively on real models.
Course Content
Week 1: MEDIUM-LONG LAYERING
- Use sectioning patterns and cutting techniques to create a perfect cut line.
- Refine round and square layering skills and techniques.
- Learn how to use elevation and direction.
- Create modern layered looks with movement and texture.
Week 2: MEDIUM GRAPHIC CUTS
- Learn structures and internal layering for a “commercial-styled” long bob.
- Discover a variation of the traditional graphic bob.
- Finishing techniques to perfect the perimeter.
- Texturizing methods to achieve beautiful, contemporary results.
- Learn how to create long curtain bangs.
Week 3: SHORT GRADUATED CUTS
- Focused on efficiency and precision, this session centers on essential techniques for the Pixie cut.
- We will explore classic cuts such as garçon styles and short graduation looks.
- You will learn how to identify when to apply short layers to graduation, expanding your cutting repertoire.
Course Structure
Mondays: Technical Training (Demo + Mannequin)
Each Monday focuses on the technical foundation of the course:

Educator demonstration.

Mannequin practice to reinforce the technique of the day.
These sessions allow you to fully understand and practice each cut in a controlled environment before moving on to real models.
Tuesday and Wednesday: Model Practice (Optional)
For those with the appropriate technical level, two supervised practice days per week can be added.
In these sessions:

You will work exclusively with real models.

You will receive corrections and guidance from the educator.

You will repeat and apply Monday’s techniques in real-life situations.
These sessions are ideal for building confidence, precision, and professional experience.
