Join the Fiesta in Gracia this August and Discover the Best Hairdressing Academy in Barcelona!
Barcelona Hair Academy, a renowned hairdressing academy, is located in the vibrant Gracia neighborhood of Barcelona. This August, the area will come alive with its grand Fiesta! From August 15th to 21st, 2024, the streets will be filled with decorations, music, and rich Catalan traditions. If you haven’t attended before, we highly recommend visiting to experience one of Barcelona’s biggest parties.
The event lineup includes an eclectic mix of music, human castles, public dances, street markets, and plenty of food and drink. There’s also a competition for the best-decorated street, with residents spending all year creating incredible themed works of art. Each street takes the competition seriously, and the standards are impressively high. Themes can range from dinosaurs to underwater sea life. Here’s a tip: Explore the streets during the day to see the most decorations and avoid the sometimes overwhelming crowds at night. It’s also best to check out the street dressings earlier in the week, as they can look a bit worn towards the end of the festivities.
Some of the best Catalan traditions are showcased during the week—our favorites are the correfoc (literally running with fire) and the Castellers (human towers).
